We are a St John Ambulance Partner Provider. All CPR and First Aid certificates issued are recognized by St John Ambulance Alberta and Alberta OHS.

Emergency First Aid – CPR C & AED (CSA Basic)
$134 • 1 day

In this one-day course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical help arrives. Topics include: 1 and 2-rescuer CPR and choking, shock and unconsciousness, sever bleeding, wound care, and major medical conditions, and also includes child and infant resuscitation. Also includes AED certification. Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard

Emergency First Aid – CPR C & AED BLENDED ONLINE (CSA Basic)
$134 • 1/2 day

The blended course consists of two steps:
Step 1 is the completion of the online theory portion of the Emergency First Aid course.
Step 2 is the completion of the in-class component requiring participants to demonstrate essential skills and complete the final theoretical examination.
To meet certification requirements, students must be able to demonstrate their competency in all required skill areas. Unsuccessful candidates will be required to take a full course at their cost; there are no refunds or re-tests.
Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard

Standard First Aid – CPR C & AED (CSA Intermediate)
$179 • 2 days

This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification.
Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard. This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards, but is not recognized by CNESST in the province of Québec.

This course is intended for those who have a current Standard First Aid – Level C/AED certificate with a focus on theoretical and practical skills testing. Includes Level C CPR/AED recertification. Please note this course requires participant to review all required theory material and to successfully complete multiple choice theory examination at the beginning of in class session. Participants who are unsuccessful will not be permitted to continue in skills testing and are required to complete an in class first aid course.
Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard. This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards, but is not recognized by CNESST in the province of Québec.

Standard First Aid – BLS CPR

This course is intended for Health Care Providers and includes all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses, including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs, and the Health Care Provider (HCP) level of CPR and AED.
If you’re taking Basic Life Support / Healthcare Provider CPR to meet a program pre-requisite or licensing body requirement we encourage you to check that this course will allow you to qualify. Not all schools and licensing bodies accept all approved programs. We are a St John Ambulance Partner Provider and widely accepted by most licensing bodies. Designed to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standard. This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards, but is not recognized by CNESST in the province of Québec.
Minimum age: 16 years

Standard First Aid – BLS CPR Recertification (Challenge) (CSA Intermediate)
$179• 1 day

This course is intended for those who have a current Standard First Aid – Basic Life Support / Healthcare Provider Level CPR certificate and includes a review of essential skills with a focus on theoretical and practical skills testing. Includes HCP Level CPR recertification. Please note this course requires participant to review all required theory material and to successfully complete multiple choice theory examination at the beginning of in class session. Participants who are unsuccessful will not be permitted to continue in skills testing and are required to complete an in class first aid course.

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR
$120 • 1 day

This course is for individuals who are working or plan to be working in the Health Care field and require the Health Care Provider level of CPR. This course includes resuscitation skills for Health Care Providers and advanced skills such as artificial respiration and use of a bag valve masks and AEDs.
If you’re taking HCP CPR to meet a program pre-requisite or licensing body requirement, we encourage you to check that this course will allow you to qualify. Not all schools and licensing bodies accept all approved programs.
Minimum age: 16 years

CPR – Basic Life Support (BLS) Recertification (Challenge)
$120 • 1/2 day
This course is for individuals who have a current HCP Level CPR certificate and wish to recertify their skills. Please note this course requires participant to review all required theory material and to successfully complete multiple choice theory examination at the beginning of in class session. Participants who are unsuccessful will not be permitted to continue in skills testing and are required to complete an in class CPR course.
Minimum age: 16 years

CPR Level C + AED
$115 • 1 day

In this course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult, child, or infant whose heart has stopped or who is choking, learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, and learn 2-rescuer CPR. This course also includes AED certification.

CPR Level C – AED Recertification (Challenge)
$115 • 1/2 day

This is for current CPR certificate holders who wish to renew their CPR and AED certification. It tests skills and it is expected that students will have reviewed the course materials prior to the class.
Please note this course requires participant to review all required theory material and to successfully complete multiple choice theory examination at the beginning of in class session. Participants who are unsuccessful will not be permitted to continue in skills testing and are required to complete an in class CPR course.
